Each year since 2000, Gambling Online Magazine has asked its readers for their opinions concerning operators and products within the online gambling segment. In 2005, coveted awards were won by, for example, Cryptologic (Top Casino Software), eCogra (Top Casino Watchdog Site), PartyPoker (Top Poker Site), PokerRoom (Top Poker Software), and InterBingo (Top Bingo).This year, fewer categories are available in order to make voting a little easier. As a consequence, though, the competition is bound to be even more intense in the remaining 20 categories.
As a little reward for those who give their votes, three Portable Play Stations from Sony are thrown into the pot, together with three copies of the World Poker Tour poker game.
In 2005, a total of over 50,000 Internet visitors took part in the vote, thereby representing the largest sampling of online gamblers ever done. The award as Top Online Casino was won by Inter Casino:
