What Are Progressive Payouts?
Going through an online casino guide, you may have heard the terms "Progressive" or "huge Progressive payouts", or something to that effect. But what on earth does it mean?
A Progressive game is a regular game like Blackjack, Slots or Roulette, but with a big difference- a huge jackpot that can potentially be yours for playing.
For instance, let’s say you have decided to play a Progressive slot machine game. If you play the max amount of coins and get the right symbol combination on a given spin, you win the Progressive jackpot.
The biggest thing to remember in playing a Progressive jackpot is you have to play the right amount of money. If you have a Slot machine game and you hit the winning combo, but only played 1 or 2 out of a possible 3 max coins, you will still win, but a much smaller amount. You will only win the Progressive payout if you play max coins only.
Sure, it is more of a risk to play max coins. You will obviously go through your bankroll twice as fast, or in some cases three times as fast. But if you look at some of the Progressive jackpots that can be won at online casinos (some as high as $1.5 million), you will see that it is a risk well worth taking.
