How Do You Play Online Blackjack?
Can I ask you something about blackjack? Last time I played a game of online blackjack, I managed to win around $50. I moved the money to a Pai Gow Poker table and although most of it was eventually gone, I had a long and plenty amusing time.
Small gambling diversion
It’s really not evident how you should sort out the two-card hand in order to maximize your chances, and in some funny way it makes you feel really proud each time the coins glide onto your stack. I guess there’s something Chinese about the whole thing.
More idle chatter
Never mind, we were talking about blackjack. I tell Jessica she would probably be better off playing online blackjack than online poker. She would last longer! But does she listen? Oh no, now she’s read Sklansky’s T.o.P. and learned everything about semi bluffing and implied odds. So she’s now a pro. End of discussion.
Here comes the question, finally!
Anyway, I wanted to ask you, the reader:
How do you prefer your online blackjack?
Single player table, or multiplayer? If so, do you chat a lot with your fellow players? Do you even play multiple tables, as is common in online poker? How high stakes do you like to play? Or do you even prefer play money? Is there any particular variation you like, and if so: why?
Please tell us in a comment to this blog entry, we really would like to know.
For my own part, I prefer multiplayer cash games at rather low stakes. And I would prefer if Jessica stayed at the fun money tables.
But she’s a pro now.

Well, I mostly prefer to sit on my own and concentrate on the cards.
Great site, btw!
